Check out this cute fast-motion video The Press Herald posted today showing the erection of Portland's holiday tree in Monument Square Thursday. The tree 65-foot blue spruce donated by Alan Betters of 196 Highland Ave., South Portland and will be lit in a ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23.

Hey Patti; The Video is is totally AWESOME! Had to go to www.presshearld.com to watch it. There is also a picture series there of a frame by frame so to speak of the tree arriving at Momument Square and Santa Claus Operating the Big Crane! Maybe you could share that link with Sun-Journal Viewers as well?
