Pease promoted at Androscoggin Bank

LEWISTON — The Board of Directors of Androscoggin Bank has announced their unanimous decision to promote David Pease to executive vice president, chief resource officer.

Pease led the development and implementation of a bankwide performance management system that includes the Accelerated Career Enhancement program, a unique mentoring program for high-potential employees.

During his tenure, the bank has been honored as one of Maine’s Best Places to Work for three years straight. Additionally, he is a critical part of the senior management team that led the bank to one of its most profitable years in Androscoggin Bank’s history last year.

With more than 23 years of human resources and training management experience, Pease is a strong advocate for employee growth, development and feedback, and a champion of a diverse, team-oriented and high performance work culture. He joined Androscoggin Bank in 2008 and also teaches management courses at Thomas College.

He has also served as volunteer leader for the Maine State Council, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, and previously worked at Sebasticook Valley Hospital, The Hartford, and USF&G Insurance. He holds a master of science degree in human resources management from Lesley University, and a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Southern Maine.

Androscoggin Bank has centers in Lewiston, Auburn, Brunswick, Gray, Jay, Lisbon Falls, Livermore Falls, South Paris, Turner and Portland.
