LISBON — Graziano's, the classic Italian restaurant known as much for its veal parm as its walls lined with boxing photos, has closed.

That, according to a recent Facebook post. States the post:

"THE GRAZIANO'S HAVE LEFT THE BUILDING. After 43 years of full bellies, friendly smiles, and impassioned dinner conversations, we have closed the doors to our Lisbon location for the final time.

"We'd like to thank our wonderful employees, whose loyalty and companionship made 'Casa Mia' more of a home than a workplace, and of course, all of our customers and friends to which we've been privileged to cook for and serve all these years. We literally couldn't have done it without you."

The post goes on to invite readers to keep in touch on Facebook, but gives no hint to future plans, if any.

A local's lament:

"No man is an Iland, intire of it selfe; every man is a peece of the Continent, a part of the maine; if a Clod bee washed away by the Sea, Europe is the lesse, as well as if a Promontorie were, as well as if a Mannor of thy friends or of thine owne were; any mans death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankinde; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee." -John Donne, 1623

Good-bye Joey, the gang, and the Rick Dostie Trio on Friday nights. You will be sincerely missed. Selah.
