Anthony G. Arruda and Associates held a ribbon cutting Aug. 8 to celebrate the opening of their Senior Planning Center in Farmington at the Mt. Blue Shopping Plaza, 648 Wilton Road. From left were, state Sen. Tom Saviello, Mt. Blue Shopping Plaza property manager Renee Targett, Tony Arruda and Senior Planning Center agent Angela Wilkinson. The center's trained staff answer questions and offer a variety of financial and insurance products and services for seniors. Arruda has been in the insurance and financial services business for 20 years and is licensed by the state of Maine to represent companies offering health, life, property and causalty insurance. During the past 10 years, he has specialized in the senior market from his office in Stratton.
