Raymond receives certification

NORWAY — Western Maine Health Vice President of Clinical Services M. Patricia Cook, RN, MBA, EdD, announces that Stephens Memorial Hospital Registered Nurse Henry Raymond recently received his Progressive Care Certified Nurse certification.

PCCN specialty certification was introduced in 2004 for nurses providing care to acutely ill adult patients. PCCN is a registered service mark of American Association of Critical Care Nurses Certification Corp. and denotes certification in acute care nursing as granted by AACN.

Raymond has been a registered nurse since 1998 and has worked in the Stephens Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit since 2000. There are only approximately 10 other individuals in the state of Maine who have achieved that certification.
