Kristen Miale, president of Good Shepherd Food-Bank, receives a $10,000 check from Sam Ladd, officer of People’s United Community Foundation and southern Maine president for People’s United Bank. Miale said the grant will fund nine Food Mobile emergency and supplemental food delivery events, at which 60,000 pounds of food will be delivered directly to needy families in the Auburn and Bangor areas.
