LEWISTON — Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community is offering a free, five-week workshop, “My Money Works: Tools for Smart Money Choices.”
It will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 15, 22, 29, and Feb. 5, 12 at the University of Southern Maine's Lewiston-Auburn College, 51-55 Westminster St.
The 15-hour class can help in gaining the skills and confidence needed to stretch money, pay bills, reduce debt, find money for savings, and set personal financial goals. At the end of the class, attendees will have a plan in place to achieve greater financial stability. A follow-up session is scheduled to provide additional networking and support.
