WILTON — Women, Work and Community is offering a free, three-hour workshop for anyone interested in starting a business. The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 10 at the Wilton CareerCenter. Snow date will be Jan. 17. Pre-registration is required.
This introductory workshop will explain the pros and cons of owning a business, show how to get started, point out the major elements of a business plan, introduce the many resources available in the Franklin County area and help attendees decide whether self employment is the right choice.
