SOUTH PARIS — H&R Block of South Paris, 42 Main St., congratulates employee Vikki Holmes for successfully completing the enrolled agent exam with the Internal Revenue Service.
Enrolled agents are the only tax practitioners licensed to practice by the federal government who specialize in taxation and also have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS.
Holmes was required to pass a comprehensive examination that covers all aspects of the tax codes. She will be required to take continuing education credits every year to maintain her enrolled agent status.
Holmes has been employed with H&R Block for 23 years and can be reached at 743-2400. The South Paris office is celebrating 42 years in business at the same location. The office is open year round and can help taxpayers with any tax issues they might have with the IRS or the state of Maine. Holmes is also a notary public.
