AUBURN — Skelton, Taintor & Abbott, 95 Main St., Auburn, announces that distinguished employment lawyer and litigator Rebecca Webber has joined the firm as a shareholder.
Webber brings two decades of experience to the firm’s thriving employment law practice. She represents individuals, businesses and government agencies in employment law counseling, compliance, training and civil litigation. She handles employment claims in both state and federal court, before the Maine Human Rights Commission, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and other state and federal agencies and tribunals.
A native of Auburn, Webber received her bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, from Williams College, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School. She is a member of the Maine State and Androscoggin County Bar Associations, the Maine Trial Lawyers’ Association, National Employment Lawyers Association, Maine Employment Lawyers Association, Society of Human Resource Management, and the Central Maine Human Resources Association. She serves as co-chair of the labor and employment section of the Maine Bar Association.
