Shibles achieves credential

NORWAY — Timothy A. Churchill, president and CEO of Western Maine Health, announces that Shelly Shibles, vice president of quality and safety, has recently achieved her Certified Professional Healthcare Quality credential.

The CPHQ certification program is fully accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies of the National Organization for Competency Assurance in Washington, D.C. The CPHQ credential signifies professional and academic achievement by individuals in the field of health care quality management.

Shibles had to meet several requirements and pass an extensive certification exam. She has been employed at Stephens Memorial Hospital in the quality department for 10 years.
