FARMINGTON — April Guagenti, MSW, LMSW, the executive director of Evergreen Behavioral Services based in Farmington, recently completed graduate certification in the field of gerontology.
The certification was from the University of Massachusetts Boston’s John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies. She completed courses in advocacy, the psychology of aging, health and physical changes with aging, and elder health care issues.
Guagenti resides in Wilton and has been employed by Evergreen Behavioral Services for 18 years. The organization provides 24/7 emergency mental health response and community outreach services, and is an affiliate of Franklin Community Health Network.
