Cariello joins MCHO

LEWISTON — Kevin Lewis, CEO of Maine Community Health Options, recently announced that Jane Cariello has joined the organization as the director of service operations. MCHO is a not-for-profit, CO-OP health plan that will provide health insurance to Maine people and small businesses beginning in January 2014.

Cariello will be responsible for developing a contact center for the management of customer service calls, claims and enrollment questions. She will play an important role in MCHO customer service operations and ensure that customer relations are successful.

Cariello has more than 20 years of experience in managing back office operations for the financial services and health care fields in both large and mid-sized organizations. She has managed the operations for an employee benefit plan provider, a community hospital and a credit card bank. She also has experience in client relations, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Richmond and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
