NORWAY — Barbara Allen, vice president of community relations and development, announces that Deborah Clark, librarian at Stephens Memorial Hospital, has recently achieved membership in the Academy of Health Information Professionals at the distinguished level.
AHIP is the Medical Library Association’s peer reviewed professional development and career recognition credentialing program. The distinguished level credential denotes the highest standards of professional competency and achievement in the field of health care information. AHIP members must renew every five years to maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully support the institution’s mission and goals.
The library at SMH is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to supporting the clinical staff at the hospital, the library also supports patients and the community by providing valuable information to help make informed health care decisions and healthy lifestyle choices.
