Morissette joins Tedford Housing

BRUNSWICK — Tedford Housing announces that Lisa Morissette of Greene recently joined the organization as the supportive housing specialist for its Blake Street Family Apartments in Lewiston and Franklin Apartments on Pine Street in Auburn.

Tedford Housing provides a range of permanent housing and support services to homeless persons in Mid-Coast and Central Maine.

The role of the supportive housing specialist is to work with previously homeless individuals and families who live in these buildings to ensure the residents have access to educational and employment opportunities, as well as community-based services.

Morissette came to Tedford after many years working with individuals affected by domestic violence at Safe Voices in Lewiston. In addition to her work at Tedford, she is a longtime parishioner at St. Michael Parish in Winthrop where she serves as a high school youth ministry leader along with her husband, Roger.
