Morin joins Healthy Androscoggin

LEWISTON — Healthy Androscoggin announces the hire of Daniel Morin as the new substance abuse prevention coordinator.

Morin holds a bachelor of science degree in community health education, from the University of Maine at Farmington. He has taught health in the public school system and was a state of Maine Judicial Marshal. He will coordinate several substance abuse prevention programs, including the Responsible Beverage Service training program, Families in Action, and providing coordination support for the Androscoggin County Alcohol Enforcement team. He will work with schools, local law enforcement, and local health agencies to promote healthy living through substance abuse prevention education.
