AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College is offering “Bookkeeping Fraud: Is It Happening In Your Business?”
It will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays, April 15, 22 and 29.
Participants will learn to recognize the most common fraud schemes that can happen to a company. They will be able to identify red flags for internal fraud and how to implement a plan of action to reduce or even eliminate this risk.
The instructor will be Rose Creps, a financial consultant and accounting manager with significant experience in training and education. Creps has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in global business administration.
