great event- mark your calendar for next year!
Lucky Me! I was asked to be an honorary crossing guard at the Hello-ween afternoon. What fun! The kids looked great. This was a wonderful family event and the New Auburn businesses went all out. I heard several adults say "I didn't know New Auburn had so many businesses"- the "hello" goal was definitely met.
The other terrific impression- the children were so polite and well behaved. Parents, grandparents, special adults please tell your children what a wonderful impression. Almost all the kids said "thank you" to me every time I crossed them. Only a few adults, without children, traveled outside the crosswalks. All ages of students were friendly and considerate of others traveling around. Parents should be very proud. I can't wait for the next family fun time.
