Bowling: Lahey winners announced

LEWISTON — The Thomas E. Lahey Scholarship Bowlfest was held Jan. 28 at Sparetime Recreation.

The women of Bell Farms ruled the roost, winning for the second time in the past 10 years. Team members were Sue Dostie, Jami Godin, Jean Cote, Terri Moore and Cheryl Hebert.

Runners-up were Smile Again Dentures. Team members were Tom Guay, Jeff Blackburn, Joe Adkins, Derek Gendron and Mike Adkins.

Pen-Mor Printing finished third. Members were Glen Fillion, Jamey Bissonettem Chris Blais, Jerry Bissonette and Matt Nicole.

Four new records were set: Men's high series, scratch, Scott Allaire 795; Women's high series, scratch, Ali Breault 658; Men's high game, scratch, Derek Webb 299; Women's high game, scratch, Ali Breault 248.
