AUBURN — Buffalo Wild Wings Brew Crew continued its winning ways Thursday night by defeating State Farm, 10-6, in Auburn Rec men's softball.
Joe Locke went 3-for-4 with a home run and mae several highlight catches in the field. Tyler Merchant also chipped in with a 2-for-4 day and some sterling defense. Newcomer Scott Tiner helped set the tone of the game with his 2-for-4 night at the plate. Brent Cary added a huge three-run double in the seventh to give BWW the lead.
Backed by great pitching from Jeff Dionne and excellent defensive play from the entire team, the Crew evened its record to 3-3 and looks forward to its matchup against Interstate Batteries this week.
