Methuen, Mass – The Maine Renegades Peewee II hockey suffer two losses in Valley League Games.
Game one was a heart-breaking 2-1 loss to the Melrose Peewee I team. Both teams struggled to find the net until late into the second period. Junior Mathon scored the only goal for the Renegades with a powerful slap shot to tie the game going into the third. Kyle Labbe played exceptional between the pipes for the Renegades in a 2-1 game.
In the second game, the Renegades faced off against a very strong Winchester team and fell 6-2. Junior Mathon once again powered a slap shot to open the scoring for the Renegades with the assist coming from Brendan Bolduc. Jack St. Pierre tallied the second goal on a nifty shot for the team late in the third period. Brendan Bolduc was credited with the assist along with Junior Mathon.
