Back-to-school party

The Jesus Party Urban Youth Outreach held its annual back to school party on Aug. 31. The focus of the party was to share character building tools with the children to assist them in a successful school year. The ministry will be teaching about African American contributions to the nation and how the election process takes place in democracy at upcoming events scheduled this fall. Fun food and prizes were enjoyed by the children at the gathering. Thirty children were in attendance. Pictured are Jesus Party staff members Theo and Lisa Record with the door prize winners Luke Bornales and Nevaeh Simard. For more information concerning the Lewiston ministry call 786-5568.
