Brent Laflin has his blood pressure checked by Mani Jean Louis, a NorthStar EMT serving in the Emergency Response Corps AmeriCorps Program (of Goodwill Industries of NNE) on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. NorthStar, AmeriCorps and the United Way of the Tri-Valley Area collaborated to offer free health screenings on this national day of service, motivated by the powerful words of Dr. King who asked, "What are you doing for others?"
