LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice has announced that four people completed the General Volunteer training held in August.
Those who attended the training include Kristen Dostie of Lewiston, Alan Elze of Auburn, Holly Lachance of Lewiston and Rattana Sherman of Durham.
The General Volunteer training prepares volunteers to visit with patients in home care services who are homebound while they recover from an illness or injury or any other reason requiring home care services. This training also prepares volunteers to work in the office or at the Hospice House as a greeter or kitchen support.
Free General Volunteer training will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the following times and locations: Thursday, Oct. 25, at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s Lewiston office; Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick; Friday, Nov. 2, at YMCA in Augusta; Monday, Nov. 5, at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s Norway office; Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s Wilton office; and Monday, Nov. 19, at the Lewiston office.
