Dempsey Challenge Team, The Fight Club, captained by Barb Deschenes of Norway, held a raffle to raise money for The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing. Thirty-three team members of The Fight Club participated in a 5K or 10K run/walk on Oct. 13 and 10-, 25-, 50-, 70- or 100-mile bike rides on Oct. 14. The Dempsey Center in Lewiston offers free support services to all cancer patients and their caregivers, regardless of where they receive their treatments.
