STONEHAM — The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865, Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the home of Kim Hansen, 14 Beal St. Apt 6, Norway. Members should bring a gift for Togus Veterans Hospital.
The last meeting was held Sept. 28 at the Community Room in Stoneham.
In the absence of secretary Dorothy Morency and guide Deanna Merchant, Mary Beth Jones and Elaine Lagueux were appointed pro tem. Seven members were present.
Donations were made to the Western Maine Veterans Home. Plans were discussed for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Mystery prize was won by Mary Beth Jones. Marge Nihan's birthday was celebrated with cake and goodies.
