NEWRY — Camp sNOw Limits will be in session Friday through Sunday, March 2 to 4, at Sunday River Ski Resort and a Camp No Limits session will take place Tuesday through Saturday, July 31 to Aug. 4, in Rome.
Cost for attendees is $500 a person, however the camp fundraises to get costs for families at the following rate: $350 a camper and siblings/$275 a parent/adult. Campers under 3 are free at most locations.
Price includes meals and lodging and most activities. There are additional fees for camp merchandise, raffles, transportation and some activities, depending on location.
Camp No Limits is a nonprofit organization, providing camps for children with limb loss, and education, mentorship and support to the children and their families.
From the first weekend camp in August 2004, hosted by Pine Tree Camp in Rome, Camp No Limits began to take shape. In addition to the original camp in Maine, there are camps in California, Idaho, Florida and St. Louis, Mo. For more information, visit www.nolimitsfoundation.org.
