Racing for baseball

Dan and Carol White-St. Pierre have built a horse racing game to raise funds for the William J. Rogers Post, American Legion, baseball team. Races will be held at 8 p.m. Friday March 16 and 23, at the post, 71 South Main St., New Auburn. “The 13 players needed for the team come from Edward Little High School and St. Dominic Regional High School and can come from Lewiston High School if there is an overflow but the player needs to submit a release form," said Dan St. Pierre, service officer. The post is looking for businesses to sponsor the program. For more information, call Tibby Dupuis at 782-1118 or e-mail ampost153auburn@gmail.com. From left are St. Pierre, White-St. Pierre, Dupuis and Commander Hugh Brown.
