Legion potluck supper
OXFORD — Anderson Staples Post 112, the American Legion, Oxford will hold its annual potluck supper for members and guests at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 11, at the Legion Hall on King Street. Those who haven't been called are asked to bring a hot dish or a dessert.
Fire Dept. lawn, plant sale
SUMNER — The Sumner Volunteer Fire Department will have their annual lawn, bake and plant sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the fire station.
There is something for everyone. A door prize will be given.
Square dance June 16
PARIS — The Swingin' Bears Square Dance Club of South Paris announces its June dance which will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Oxford Hills Middle School, 100 Pine St.
The caller for the evening will be Walt Bull of Topsham. The cuer for the round dancing will be Sandra Burke. It will be a mainstream/plus dance.
Refreshments will be served at intermission. There will be door prizes and a Pot O' Gold drawing. Admission $6 per person. Non-dancers are welcome at no charge.

Historical Society supper
MINOT — A roast pork supper to benefit the Hebron Historical Society building fund will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at the West Minot Grange Hall. $8, $4 under 12.
Finnish Americans to meet
WEST PARIS — The Finnish-American Heritage Society of Maine will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at the Finnish-American Heritage Center, 8 Maple St.
Following a brief business meeting and a coffee social, Dale Piirainen will present a program on genealogy. The public is invited to attend.
The library, gift shop and museum will be open.
