The District 9 Veterans of Foreign Wars representing VFW Post 1603 Auburn, VFW Post 1641 Rumford, VFW Post 3335 Jay, VFW Post 9150 Lewiston,VFW Post 9459 Lisbon, VFW Post 9787 South Paris and VFW Post 11032 Greene had their first meeting of the year in July at the Auburn VFW. Officers from left, front row, are Armand Bussiere, adjutant/quartermaster, Post 9150; and William Mock, senior vice, Post 1641; back, Joseph Cooney, past commander, Post 9787; David Williams, state VFW commander; Bill Thomas, commander, Post 9459; Keith Davis, District 9 commander; and Carl Douglass, commander, Post 1603.
