PARIS – The 2012 Moore Park Art Show in July featured more than 35 artists of all kinds, live entertainment, fine fare and beautiful arts and crafts. Nine ribbons were awarded to artists as well as purchase awards. The following were awarded:
Best of Show at the Moore Park Art Show was awarded to Ron Hamilton of Oxford.
Painting: Best of Show was awarded to Ron Hamilton of Oxford. Second went to Tracy Lizotte of Acton. Third was awarded to Claire Cummings of Norway.
Photography: Best of Show was awarded to Nancy Lee Piper of South Paris. Second went to Gary Swinton of Durham and third was awarded to Thayden Farrington of Industry.
Artisan: Best of Show went to Nancy Shaul of Westport Island Pottery, Westport Island, Maine. Second was awarded to Kat Dumais, Been There Beads of Lewiston and third went to Tom Cleveland of Greenwood.
The purchase awards were sponsored and selected by Dana Chandler of Chandler Funeral Homes and Susan Graves of Oxford Federal Credit Union. Both chose pieces by photographer Gary Swinton of Durham.
