National Honor Society thanks emergency workers

National Honor Society members at Mountain Valley High School in Rumford prepared and delivered trays of baked goods to Med Care personnel, Mexico Fire Department, Mexico Police Department, Rumford Hospital emergency room personnel, Rumford Fire Department and Rumford Police Department. The trays of goodies were a way of thanking emergency responders for their roles in protecting local communities. Pictured are NHS members Rachel Averill, Shanea Kennedy and Andrew Boucher as they surprised members of Rumford Fire Department with a tray of baked goods. Other participating students included Abby Pinkham, Ellie Hall, Taylor Dickson and Garrett Carver.
