Historical Society meets Dec. 4

Financial aid workshop

RUMFORD — The Mountain Valley High School guidance office will be presenting a Financial Aid Workshop at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the MVHS library.

Pam Crate from FAME will discuss the specifics of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and other financial aid sources.

Vets'advocate visits Dec. 14

RUMFORD — The Veterans' Advocate will be at the Rumford VA Clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 14, not Thursday, Dec. 13.

Telstar Theater plans play

BETHEL — The Telstar High School Theater Department will present "Dashing Through the Snow” at 7 p.m. on Dec. 13, 14 and 15, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Dec. 15, at Helen C. Berry Auditorium, Telstar Regional High School.
