AUBURN — Commander-in-Chief John Hamilton of the Veterans of Foreign Wars announced his appointment to Arthur J. Roy, past state commander, as National Deputy Chief of Staff.
Roy was recommended for this appointment by David D. Williams, state commander of the Maine VFW, for his continued work with veterans. Roy is now serving his Auburn VFW Post on 588 Minot Ave. as post advocate, District 9 judge advocate and Dept. of Maine VFW as state chief of staff and membership chairman. He lives on Russell Street in Lewiston.
