OHCA students take canoe trip

On Oct. 12, the middle school class from Oxford Hills Christian Academy experienced a field trip like no other. The trip was organized by Deb and Dave Doyle of West Bethel Hostel, and Bethel Big Adventure. Canoes, equipment and transportation were donated by Bethel Big Adventure. Teachers enjoyed the team building aspect of the trip, while students enjoyed having time outdoors and the fun of learning a new skill set. For many, it was their first time in a canoe. The Androscoggin River provided just the right fall settling to practice their new-found skills. After their ride down the river, students enjoyed a picnic lunch.
