SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Airman First Class Nathan M. Hewett graduated from U.S. Air Force Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base on Aug. 31. This was an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Hewett has gone on to technical training at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, Texas, a non-flying Air Force base specializing in cryptologic, intelligence and surveillance training. He will be stationed at Beale AFB in Marysville, Calif., upon completion of technical school in March.
Hewett is the son of Michael Hewett and Becky Rose of Coplin Plantation, Maine. He is a 2008 graduate of Mt. Abram High School, and attended Thomas College and the University of Maine at Orono.
