LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library has announced the next round of meetings and books for their community book discussion clubs. All of the clubs have current openings and are accepting new members.
Each of the book clubs is meeting monthly at the library. Participation is free and open to anyone age 18 and over in the community. Pre-registration is required and may be done by emailing LPLreference@LewistonMaine.gov or calling 513-3135.
The details for each club are as follows:
Tuesday Morning Club: next meeting on Feb. 12 at 10:05 a.m. to discuss “The End of Your Life Book Club,” by Will Schwalbe.
Tuesday Afternoon Club: next meeting on Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. to discuss “The Greater Journey,” by David McCullough.
Tuesday Evening Club: next meeting on Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss “Still Alice,” by Lisa Genova.
Saturday Morning Club: next meeting on Feb. 2 at 10:15 a.m. to discuss “The Highest Frontier,” by Joan Slonczewski.
