The ladies of Mu chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma gathered for their Christmas banquet at the Green Ladle in Lewiston on Dec. 11. Every year, the ladies adopt several families from Sister Lucille's Loaves & Fishes at the Dominican Sisters Convent in Sabattus and purchase needed and wanted items along with a few surprises for each member of the family as a personal growth project. This year they bought gifts for 18 individuals and donated money to purchase gift certificates.
