Kristy Ouellette, UMaine Extension educator in 4-H youth and family development, presents Simeon Gray of Lewiston with the 2012 Exceptional Accomplishment Through 4-H Award. The award is the highest honor given to a 4-H member in Androscoggin and Sagadahoc counties. To be eligible for nomination, members must be at least 14 years old and have at least three years of active 4-H membership. In addition, they must have excelled in 4-H by helping others, completing project records and maintaining the 4-H spirit. Nominees also must be well-rounded and demonstrate a commitment to serving their communities or schools.
