Resource Depot names officers
FARMINGTON — Everyone's Resource Depot held its annual meeting of directors on Feb. 2. Officers were elected for 2013 as follows: chairman, Bill Reid of New Sharon; treasurer, Maggie Griswold of Farmington, and secretary, Maria James of Industry.
Everyone's Resource Depot is a private, nonprofit organization which collects reusable materials from area businesses and households. It is located in the UMF Education Center at the corner of High and Lincoln streets and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Masonic lodges to host supper
WILTON — Maine Lodge No. 20 and Wilton Lodge No. 156 will host a public supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, to benefit the building fund.
The menu consists of baked Black Forest ham, raisin sauce, mashed potatoes, vegetables, dinner rolls, homemade pies and beverages. Adults, $8; under 12, $5.

Feb. vacation lifeguard course
FARMINGTON — The UMF Fitness Center will host an American Red Cross Lifeguard Course from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, through Thursday, Feb. 21. Participants must pass a pre-course swimming skills evaluation and be 15 years old.
This program reflects training skills that correspond with cutting edge research on how guards should be training, and the most effective skills needed to prevent, prepare and respond to emergencies. Nonmembers to the Fitness Center are given two visit passes, upon paid in full registrations, to practice the pre-course swimming skills.

Zumbatomic to start Feb. 28
TURNER — Zumbatomic classes will start on Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Turner Primary School. The program is a rocking, high-energy fitness party designed for kids ages 4 to 12. Zumbatomic helps kids increase self-focus, confidence, coordination and boosts metabolism.
Class is from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and is $30 per session. Another session will take place in April.
