Community Concepts Inc. of Lewiston and South Paris recently received a $10,000 grant from the Maine Cancer Foundation for cancer transportation services. The Maine Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Maine people by funding cancer research, education and patient support programs, with 100 percent of the funds raised remaining in Maine. Community Concepts is a private, nonprofit community action organization serving central and western Maine that provides leadership, education and support to build thriving individuals, families and communities.
