WILTON — Alan Frink, whose music brings together Southern and light contemporary gospel, will perform Sunday, Aug. 19, at the East Wilton Union Church.
The 6 p.m. concert is part of the church's Concerts on the Lawn series.
At age 18 after graduating from Temple Christian High School in Salem, N.H., Frink joined a Christian music and drama group called The Agape Players. He traveled with the group from June of 1982 to May of 1983, when he moved on to pursue a solo ministry.
He continued to travel and sang until November of 1984, when he became song leader at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Litchfield, NH. He still serves in that church as a soloist and sings for the Grand National North Series with the Racing With Jesus Ministries out of Canterbury, Conn.
