NORWAY — Frost Farm Gallery will hold a First Friday reception on Friday, Oct. 5, for its Western Maine Paper Project, an exhibit featuring two-dimensional unframed works on paper.
The Western Maine Paper Project is an open-invitation, nonjuried show of photography, watercolor, technical marker, tempera paint, collage mandalas, block print, giclee and more.
Artists include Brian D. Rivers, Donald Rice, Jennifer E. Locke, Cynthia Curtis, Georganne Bernard, Linda Panzera, Thelma Denlinger, Larry Curtis, Delsey Andrews, Janis Hutchins, Joanna Reese, Betsy Bell, Tere Porter and Sam Little.
Performing at the reception will be Maya Best of Greenwood, who plays guitar, percusion and harmonica in a blues-folk style.
The free reception will run from 5 to 8 p.m. at the gallery at the David W. Frost farm, 272 Pikes Hill. Light refreshments will be served.
