LEWISTON — On Dec. 6-8, Pathway Vineyard Church will present its 16th community Christmas event, “The Nativity," featuring drama, cultural music, dance and, as always, live animals.

Following the half-hour performance of the historical Nativity story, guests will be invited into the festively lighted foyer decorated in the theme of “Through the Eyes of A Child.” There will be caroling and complimentary cider and cookies. Visitors can also take draft horse-drawn wagon rides around the lighted church at 12 Foss Road. There will also be a live petting zoo and an outdoor Christmas village.

The weekend event is open to all ages and is free of charge. Ample parking is available. Doors will open a half-hour prior to performances at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Dec. 6-7, and 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8. Those planning to take wagon rides are advised to bring warm winter clothing.
