PARIS — The caller at the Swingin' Bears Square Dance Club's annual Teddy Bear Dance on Saturday, Dec. 8, will be John Thompson. He is former club caller and recipient of the Yankee Clipper Award along with his wife, Judy, at the 2012 New England Square & Round Dance Convention.
Thompson will fill in for club caller Ray Hilton, who couldn't make the date. The cuer for round dancing will be Carol Stewart.
The dance will be from 7 to10 p.m. at the Oxford Hills Middle School on Pine Street. Admission $6 per person with door prizes, a drawing and refreshments at intermission. Nondancers are welcome to watch at no charge.
Stuffed toys will be accepted to be distributed by Right Start for Kids, a program of Community Concepts in the Oxford Hills area.
