Hallock, pastor of the Pine Street Congregational Church, speaker of the evening, gave some of his traveling experiences and observations in the West, interspersed with anecdotes that kept his audience in a pleasant mood.

Extensive renovations are underway at Auburn police headquarters in a general revamping of the police facilities. Under the direction of Chief Alton E. Members also voted to have school principals and parents review a school policy that regulates the ratio of teacher to students.
