The multi-Oscar-winning production "Lawrence of Arabia" will be screened at Dreamland Theater on Jan. 17.
BATH — Sagadahoc Preservation's Dreamland Theater will screen "Lawrence of Arabia" at 7 p.m. on Jan. 17 at the Winter Street Center, Bath. Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif star in this multi-Oscar-winning production based on the exploits of legendary British soldier T.E. Lawrence. Lawrence helps unite rival Arab tribes and then organizes them into a rebellion against the Turks during World War One. Definitely one of the greatest epic movies of all time. Alec Guiness, Jack Hawkins, Anthony Quinn, Jose Ferrer and Claude Rains also costar.
Movies are shown at 7 p.m. every Thursday at the Dreamland Theater. The suggested donation is $5. All proceeds go toward the maintenance of the Winter Street Center. Feel free to bring supper. Soft drinks and candies are available for $1 each.
