Cronin and Root, Lisbon street clothiers, are planning the erection of a handsome new block at the corner of Ash and Lisbon streets, on the site now owned by them and to which location they contemplate moving soon. This and other new blocks planned will do much toward making Lisbon street modern in every way. The firm is having plans drawn up for a three-story brick block. Some time ago they purchased the store occupied by C. F. Maines, one of the most valuable sites for a retail house in the city, and they had planned to move their store from 110 Lisbon St. to the new location.
