Touring bands to play at Club Texas

Straight Line Stitch is one of several touring bands making an appearance at Club Texas on Feb. 13.

AUBURN — The Straight Line Stitch and Dead By Wednesday tour will perform at Club Texas, Auburn on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Straight Line Stitch is a popular band with over 7-million views of its videos on YouTube. Last year they headlined the Jäger stage at all Mayhem dates across the country. Then the band toured Amsterdam followed by a tour of the UK with In This Moment. They played the 2010 Download Fest in the UK followed by a two-week headlining tour in Europe. They toured as Direct Support for Nonpoint, Deftones, Otep, Slayer, In Flames, Hatebreed and Skindred.

Dead By Wednesday, from New Haven, CT, is on Jamey Jasta's (Hatebreed) Stillborn label. DBW just finished up the first Hatewear tour. Maine's own Ascent To Power will be opening the show on Feb. 13 along with local bands Dark Rain, Screaming For Closure and more.
