WELD — A local man is accused of inappropriately touching a girl under age 18 over the last couple of years, Franklin County Sheriff Detective David St. Laurent said Monday.
James Lundy, 45, was arrested Friday on a charge of felony unlawful sexual assault and a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault, St. Laurent said.
He also charged Lundy by summons on three counts of furnishing liquor to minors under the age of 21, he said. Lundy is accused of providing liquor to three different, underage people, he said.
Information was provided to St. Laurent and he launched an investigation last week, he said.
Lundy was released on $500 cash bail Saturday. He is scheduled to appear March 23 in Franklin County Superior Court in Farmington.
